NewsFlash! USCIS Issues Notices Retracting Erroneous I-485 RFEs

The USCIS Texas Service Center (TSC) has issued a large volume of Notices of Action, retracting certain erroneous requests for evidence (RFEs) on pending applications for adjustment of status (form I-485). These notices are intended to remedy the USCIS’s admitted error in issuance of a particular type of RFE to dependent family members, which was referenced in the MurthyDotCom NewsBrief, Influx of RFEs on Pending I-485s.

The notices inform applicants that they can disregard the RFE that was received in error. More information on these notices will be posted on MurthyDotCom.
