Is it true that EB2 and EB3 India will be current in October?

Although there is factual basis for this rumor, it unfortunately seems highly unlikely that this will happen.
Several weeks ago, more than 50 members of the U.S. House of Representatives sent a joint letter to the U.S. Department of State (DOS) and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), requesting that all employment-based categories be made current on the dates for filing chart (i.e., Chart B). While it is encouraging that there are members of the House who are paying attention to this issue, this letter is simply making a request, and carries no force of law. At this point, there is little reason to believe it will result in any concrete action from the DOS or DHS. (17.Aug.2023)
