NewsFlash! Filing Guide Released for Parole-in-Place Program for Undocumented Spouses of U.S. Citizens

Today, the Biden Administration released a filing guide for form I-131F, which is the new electronic form that soon will be used by certain undocumented spouses and stepchildren of U.S. citizens to apply for parole in place. The filing guide provides instructions for completing the application and discusses the types of evidence that can be used to demonstrate eligibility for the program.

A more detailed explanation of the final program will be posted on MurthyDotCom after it is published in the Federal Register next week. Note that the USCIS will not start accepting applications for the parole in place program until August 19, 2024.
