NewsFlash! October 2012 EB2 India Cutoff Date: September 1, 2004!

The U.S. Department of State (DOS) Visa Bulletin for October 2012 contains a cutoff date of September 1, 2004 in employment-based, second preference (EB2) for India. This is a significant change from previous predictions given by the DOS Visa Office. The October 2012 Visa Bulletin, which is the first visa bulletin of fiscal year 2013 (FY13),  did not include any explanations or predictions of further cutoff date movement.

The cutoff date for EB2 China is July 15, 2007. All other countries will have a cutoff date of January 1, 2012 during the month of October 2012. We at the Murthy Law Firm will be providing readers with a more detailed analysis of these developments.
