Hotline for LEA Problems
Posted Oct 12, 1998

INS has made a hotline available for problems with the new Law Enforcement Agencies or LEAs (such as those who will not process fingerprints for nonresidents, who refuse applicants, etc.) That number is 202-305-7802.

If you recollect, the Law Office of Sheela Murthy posted information on the LEAs which have replaced the DFS' or the Designated Fingerprinting Services since earlier this year. For additional information on the LEAs, please visit the website of the Law Office of Sheela Murthy, February 1998 Update Section located at www.murthy.com or the INS website for the list of LEAs within your State.
