Old LCA System Remains
Available until June 30, 2009 - iCert Delay Posted

The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) announced a delay in the change to
the iCert system for Labor Condition Applications (LCAs). The new, iCert
program has been available since April 15, 2009. Simultaneously, the
pre-iCert system has continued to be available. The dual system was
scheduled to end on May 15th, switching exclusively to iCert as of that
date. This has been delayed, and both systems will remain available until
June 30, 2009. More on this change is
available on MurthyDotCom.

The reason for the delay, reportedly, is to allow further evaluation of
issues raised by users, as well as to allow more time for users to become
familiar with the new system.
