Visa for Indian Nationals Extended from 5 to 10 Years with Revised Fee
Schedule Under Reciprocity Rules
Prior to May 1998
In
an October 20, 1997 Department of State cable, the State Dept. has revised
its Visa Reciprocity Schedule for India. Effective November 1, 1997, the
visa reciprocity schedule for India will be amended as follows:
B-1&2
(Business visitor and tourists for pleasure) will be allowed a maximum
of a 120 month or 10 year multiple entry visa (in place of the maximum
5 years until October 31, 1997) for the regular visa processing fees of
$10; fee of $50.00 for 12 month validity and fee of $25.00 for six month
validity. Diplomatic or official passport holders are exempt from B2 or
F visa issuance fees.
